This is a Rinzai sect temple located in Kasaigaya, Komachi, Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture. Its mountain name is Seiryu-zan. During the Nanboku-cho period, it was ranked 5th out of the 10 great temples. Hojo Yasutoki built a temple beside the grave of his wife's mother for the memorial service, and performed memorial services there with Taikou Gyoyu as the priest. It is said that it later became a Zen temple with Gyoyu's disciple Saiyuu as the founder, but there are various theories about the founding of the temple, including the theory that Gyoyuu was the founder. In 1333 (Ganko 3), when the Kamakura Shogunate was destroyed, Hojo Takatoki and his family and retainers committed suicide at this temple.
