Transmission engineering standard

Transmission engineering standard
The basis of communication transmission in public communication networks is to maintain a certain communication quality for communication between any terminals, regardless of the transmission distance or the installation conditions of the communication terminals. This communication quality means, for example, the degree to which a telephone call can be heard clearly, and in the case of data communication, the number of transmission errors. In public communication networks, standards for the communication quality that should be ensured are set in advance, and the communication network is designed to maintain these standards for information transmission from any subscriber.
