...A dualistic religion founded and advocated in the 3rd century by the Iranian Mani (216-276/277, or more precisely Mani). It is a world religion that takes Zoroastrianism at the time as its doctrine base, and incorporates and fuses it with Christianity, Mesopotamian Gnosticism, traditional indigenous beliefs, and even Buddhism.
