This inscription was found on a marble slab in Troezen, Greece in 1959, and is currently housed at the Epigraphic Museum in Athens. In 1960, American MH Jameson published an edited and annotated version of the text. It is believed to have been carved in the 4th century BC, when the anti-Macedonian movement was gaining momentum. It contains a plan for a strategy against the Persian army, which was resolved by the Council and the People's Assembly at the initiative of Themistocles before the naval Battle of Salamis in 480 BC, and is believed to be close to the original.

1959年ギリシアのトロイゼンで発見された大理石板に刻まれた碑文で，現在アテネの碑文博物館所蔵。60年アメリカのジェームソンM.H.Jamesonによって本文校訂と注釈が公にされた。この碑文が刻まれたのは前4世紀の反マケドニア運動がさかんになった時と推定される。前480年サラミスの海戦の前にテミストクレスの発議で評議会と民会で決議された，対ペルシア軍作戦計画を内容とするもので，もとのものに近いと推定される。
