An amusement park located about 32 km southwest of Orlando in central Florida, USA. Its official name is Walt Disney World. It is operated by Walt Disney Productions. It opened in 1971. Its 11,100 hectare site is more than 100 times the size of Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and includes the Magic Kingdom (43 hectares), Epcot Center (an experimental city of the future, 105 hectares), Disney-MGM Studios, three golf courses, Fort Wilderness Campground, and the water recreation facilities of Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon.
