Japanese: 小原女 - おはらめ

Kabuki dance. Nagauta. A piece from the original title "Kakete Matsuru Iro no Ukiyoe (Paintings of the Floating World)". First performed by Nakamura Utaemon III at the Edo Nakamuraza in August 1810 (Bunka 7). Lyrics by Segawa Jyoko II. Music by Kineya Rokuzaemon IX. Choreography by Ichiyama Shichijuro. The first part is a dance depicting the customs of a woman who comes to Kyoto from Ohara in the north of Kyoto to sell firewood, and she dances in a puffy figure wearing a slave's costume underneath and an Otafuku mask. In the second part, she takes off the costume and mask and takes on the role of "Kuniiri Slave," showing lively movements with a spear.

歌舞伎舞踊。長唄。本名題《奉掛色浮世図画（かけたてまつるいろのうきよえ）》の一曲。1810年(文化7)8月江戸中村座で3世中村歌右衛門が初演。作詞2世瀬川如皐。作曲9世杵屋（きねや）六左衛門。振付市山七十郎。前段は洛北，小(大)原から京の街に薪（たきぎ）を売りにくる女の風俗を舞踊化したもので，下に奴の衣装を着こみ，お多福の面をつけたふくれた姿の踊。後段はこの着付，面をとって《国入奴》に替わり，毛槍の活発な動きを見せる。
