Yangtze River Bridge

Japanese: 長江大橋 - ちょうこうおおはし

Four large bridges, including those in Nanjing and Wuhan (completed in 1957), were the first to be built over the Yangtze River (Chinese: Yangtze) after the country's liberation. Counting from Sichuan upstream, there are more than 30 bridges built over the Yangtze River, and three of them, the largest ones over 3,000m long, are the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway bridge in Wuhan (4,687m, completed in 1957), the Beijing-Kowloon Railway bridge in Jiujiang (7,675m, completed in 1995), and the Beijing-Shanghai Railway bridge in Nanjing (6,772m, completed in 1968), which also serve as roads and play a major role in north-south transportation on a national level.

中国の長江(揚子江)に解放後はじめて架けられた南京，武漢(1957年完成)など4本の大橋。長江に架けられた橋を上流の四川から数えれば30余になるが，中でも3000mをこえる大規模なものとしては，武漢に架けられた京広鉄道のもの(4687m，1957年完成)，九江に架けられた京九鉄道のもの(7675m，1995年完成)，南京に架けられた京滬鉄道のもの(6772m，1968年完成)の3橋が道路も兼ねており，全国レベルでの南北交通に大きな役割を果たしている。
