The name of the greatest living Buddha in Inner Mongolia during the Qing Dynasty, China, and the head of the Yellow Hat (Gelu) sect of lamas. The first living Buddha, Losang Choeden (1642-1715), was born in the Qinghai region, and after becoming a disciple of the 5th Dalai Lama, came to Beijing by imperial decree in 1693 (the 32nd year of the Kangxi era). In 1697, he built the Yizong Temple in Dolon Nor, Inner Mongolia, and was given the temple as a gift. In 1712, he built the Songzhu Temple in Beijing. The second living Buddha, Lolpay Dorje (1717-86), was born in Gansu, came to the capital in 1724 (the 2nd year of the Yongzheng era), and built the Shan'in Temple in Dolon Nor by imperial decree in 1731, and was given the temple as a gift.

中国，清代内モンゴルの最高の活仏で黄帽派(ゲルー派)ラマ教主の名称。その初代活仏ロサンチョエデン(1642‐1715)は青海地方に生まれ，ダライ･ラマ5世の弟子となったのち，1693年(康熙32)勅命を奉じて北京に来た。97年勅命により内モンゴルのドロン･ノール(多倫諾爾)に彙宗寺を建立して与えられた。1712年北京に嵩祝寺を建立した。第2代活仏ロルペイドルジェ(1717‐86)は甘粛に生まれ，24年(雍正2)来京し，31年勅命によりドロン･ノールに善因寺を建立して与えられた。
