Japanese: 親長卿記 - ちかながきょうき

This is the diary of Kanroji Chikanaga, a nobleman of the Muromachi period. It consists of a main account and additional accounts covering the period from 1470 to 1498, but some of it was burned during the Onin War. The contents cover politics, economics, and society, and mention the activities of the Imperial Court and the military during times of war, the lives of nobles, and even peasant uprisings. It also contains a record of the Daijoe ceremony held in 1466, the last of the medieval period, and describes the negotiations between the Imperial Court and the Muromachi Shogunate, as well as the state of the Shogunate's economy.
