Tamagawa Gakuen - Tamagawa Gakuen
A private comprehensive school in Machida, Tokyo. In 1929, Ohara Kuniyoshi, who was at Seijo Gakuen, founded Tamagawa Gakuen with the goal of realizing holistic education. In 1947, Tamagawa University was opened on top of the pre-World War II primary and secondary education institutions. Currently, it is a comprehensive school with education from kindergarten to graduate school, and is known for its liberal academic style. The university has three faculties: Literature, Agriculture, and Engineering. It also has a publishing department.
