Born October 14, 1897. Became a professor at Keijo Imperial University in 1928. From 1935, he served as the 6th editor-in-chief of the Korean History Editorial Committee of the Government-General of Korea, and then as the editor-in-chief of the same committee. Known for his empirical research on the history of modern Japanese diplomacy and modern Korean history. Died February 26, 1945. Age 49. Born in Hokkaido. Graduated from Tokyo Imperial University.
