This refers to the fragments of "Ise-shu" and "Tsurayuki-shu, Part 2" from "Honganjihon Thirty-six Nin Kashu" (owned by Nishi Honganji, Kyoto). Originally a booklet bound in clay, it was cut up in 1929 (Showa 4) and divided into separate collections for various families. When it was divided, it was named by Masuda Dono, after the Honganji Temple was originally located in Ishiyama, Settsu Province (around present-day Osaka Castle). The author of "Ise-shu" is unknown (according to Fujiwara Kinto), but "Tsurayuki-shu, Part 2" is believed to have been copied in the original hand of Fujiwara Sadanobu (1088-1156), the fifth-generation grandson of Fujiwara Yukinari, around 1112 (Ten'ei 3). The work is made mainly of white karakami paper with brown, indigo, and light blue dyed paper, and is made using the unique Honganji style of cut and torn joints, with outlines of small birds and broken branches painted in silver paint, clearly reflecting the aesthetic sense of the elegant court nobility.
