Year of birth: Unknown. A Joruri composer in the Kamigata area in the mid-Edo period. As a composer for the Toyotakeza, he collaborated or supplemented a total of 42 pieces over a 26-year period from 1741 to 1767, but did not compose any works on his own. It is said that he was the pen name of Morino Chozaburo, a chanter who lived in Sakaimachi, Kyoto. Nothing else about his origins or career is known. It is possible that he is the same person as Asada Kakei, who was involved in three Joruri works for the Takemotoza with Bunkodo and Miyoshi Shoraku during the Genbun era (1736-1741). 江戸中期,上方の浄瑠璃作者。豊竹座の作者として寛保1(1741)年から明和4(1767)年の26年間に計42編の合作または増補にたずさわったが,単独作はない。京都堺町に住んだ謡師森野長三郎の筆名であったと伝える。それ以外の出自,経歴はいっさい分からない。なお元文年間(1736～41)に文耕堂,三好松洛らと共に竹本座の浄瑠璃3作にかかわった浅田可啓とは同一人の可能性も考えられる。関与作で現在も上演されるものに,「一谷嫩軍記」「祇園祭礼信仰記」「岸姫松轡鑑」などがある。<参考文献>入我亭我入『戯財録』(日本思想大系61巻),『義太夫年表/近世篇1』,国立劇場芸能調査室編『浄瑠璃作品要説(6) 為永太郎兵衛・浅田一鳥篇』
