Born on March 1, 1790. The third son of Taki Motoyasu. He studied Confucianism under Ota Kinjo and medicine under his father. In 1818, he succeeded the family headship and became the director of the shogunate's medical school. He died on June 3, 1827. He was 39 years old. He was from Edo. His childhood name was Yayoinosuke. His nickname was Eiki. He was commonly known as Yasura and Yasugen. His pen name was Ryukei. He edited and wrote "Iseki Ko" and other works.
