Located in Takaida, Kashiwara City, Osaka Prefecture, this is a site from the Kofun period. It was built on the soft sandstone hillside on the north bank of the Yamato River, and many of the ruins have burial chambers and passageways. They are particularly famous for their carved murals on the walls of the burial chambers and passageways, as well as on the entrance gates.
