A chronological record of the successive emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty of Vietnam. Compilation was started by order of Nguyen Phu Ning (Emperor Gia Long), the first emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, following the format of Chinese annals. It is divided into a first volume (before the Nguyen Dynasty) and a main volume (from Emperor Gia Long to Emperor Tong Ching), covering the period up to 1909, and also includes a separate collection of biographies of people from each era. It is the most important historical source for the modern history of Vietnam.

ベトナムの阮朝歴代皇帝の編年記録。中国の実録の形式に従って阮朝初代の阮福映 (嘉隆帝) の命令により編纂が始められた。前編 (阮朝以前) ，正編 (嘉隆帝から同慶帝まで) に分けられ，1909年まで扱い，別に各時代の人物伝を集めた列伝もある。ベトナム近世史の最も重要な史料。
