Durable consumer goods

Japanese: 耐久消費財 - たいきゅうしょうひざい
Durable consumer goods
Among goods that directly satisfy human desires, i.e., useful for consumption, they are those that are used continuously for a fairly long period of time. The period of usability can range from a few months to semi-permanent, but in principle, they refer to goods with a useful life of three years or more. They mainly refer to furniture, utensils, etc., and usually do not include buildings and clothing. In contrast, goods that are consumed after one use are called single-use goods.
