Cnidaria

...The name comes from the fact that the inside of their bodies is a large stomach cavity that digests food. They are also called Cnidaria because they have poisonous stinging cells in their tentacles and other parts of their bodies. Cnidaria were once classified as part of the Coelenterata, but due to their body structure they were placed in a separate phylum called Ctenophora.
