Keyhole-shaped tomb - Zenpoukouhofun

A type of tomb. It has a square front part attached to a square mound, and can be considered a variation of the keyhole-shaped tomb. It can be seen from the early to late Kofun period. In the past, they were thought to be found in limited areas, but recently they have been discovered all over the country. 墳墓形式の一つ。方形の墳丘に方形の前方部がつけられたもので，前方後円墳の一つの変形ともいえる。古墳時代前期から後期にわたってみられる。古くは地域が限られているように思われていたが，最近全国各地で発見されるようになってきている。
