Kawamae Sato Book Stone - Senzen Rishoseki

Japanese: 川前里書石 - せんぜんりしょせき

A megalithic relic located in Gugokkei, Cheonjeon-ri, Dudong-myeon, Ulju-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, southeastern Korea. The area is a key transportation point from Gyeongju to the Ulsan region on the east coast. This megalith has a vertical surface 3m high and over 10m wide, and in 1970 it was discovered that it has an inscription of about 300 characters, mainly paintings, sculptures and people's names. The inscription has been added to many times, and the base point for determining the date is the characters "Year of Gi-Mi" and "King Heung," which is thought to be the 26th year of King Beopheung of Silla (539). An older inscription is the part with the zodiac sign of "Yul-Si," which corresponds to the 12th year of King Beopheung (525).

韓国南東部の慶尚南道蔚州郡斗東面川前里九曲渓にある巨石遺物。同地は慶州から東海岸の蔚山（うるさん）地方へ出る交通の要衝にあたるが，この巨石は高さ3m，幅10m余の垂直な平面をもち，1970年，その平面に絵画彫刻と人名を主とした約300字の銘文があることが知られた。銘文は何度も追記されており，年代決定の基点は〈己未年〉と〈興王〉の文字で，これは新羅の法興王26年(539)と考えられている。より古い銘文は〈乙巳〉の干支をもつ部分で，法興王12年(525)にあたる。
