〘Noun〙 (also "senjunenbuchi") A Buddhist term. The act of chanting the Nembutsu single-mindedly without engaging in any other practice. Often refers to the Honen school of Nembutsu. Devotion. ※Nenbutsu Taii (around 1212): "Is it true that among the practitioners of the present age who practice the exclusive practice of Nembutsu, there are many who suffer hardships and make fun of them?"
