Corpus Christi, Latin for Corpus Christi, is a Catholic holiday that expresses the veneration of the Eucharist. It is a custom that originated in Belgium in the late 13th century and is celebrated on the Thursday of Trinity week (now the following Sunday) with a Eucharistic procession.
