Holy sect - Seisou

The 6th Emperor of the Liao Dynasty of China (reigned 982-1031). His surname was Yelu, given name was Longxu, and his pen name was Manjusrinu. He was born as the eldest son of the 5th Emperor Jingzong. He ascended to the throne at the age of 12, and with the assistance of Yelu Longyun and others, he reformed domestic affairs, subjugated the Tatars, sent expeditionary forces to the Jurchen and Goryeo, intermarried with the Western Xia, and made the Uighurs pay tribute, thereby stabilizing diplomatic relations with the peoples of North Asia. In 1004, he personally invaded the Song Dynasty, approaching Chanzhou (Chanyuan), and fought against the army personally led by Emperor Zhenzong of Song. As a result of the peace talks, (1) the Song Dynasty sent 200,000 silks and 100,000 taels of silver to the Liao Dynasty every year, and (2) a treaty was concluded that was favorable to the Liao Dynasty, such as maintaining the status quo in the border areas (the Chanyuan Alliance). This enormous tribute from the Song Dynasty was sent to the Liao Dynasty for over 100 years, enriching the finances of the Liao Dynasty, stimulating the business world, promoting the development of industrial culture, and building the foundation for the heyday of the Liao Dynasty that lasted for three generations under the reigns of Shengzong, Xingzong, and Daozong. His mausoleum is located at Yongqing Mausoleum in Qingyun Mountain, Gyeongju (Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region).
