Miscellaneous writings compiled by Mukoyama Seisai (Atsu, Gendayu). The original titles were taken from the zodiac sign of the year they were compiled, and were titled Boxu Zakki (1838 (Tenpo 9)) and so on until Teiwei Zakki (1847 (Koka 4)). After that, there were works titled Boshin Zaktsu (1848 (Kaei 1)) and so on up to Heijin Zaktsu (1856 (Ansei 3)), the year of the editor's death. The copies held by the Historiographical Institute of the University of Tokyo, which mainly contain Seisai's handwritten works, were donated by his adopted son Mukoyama Koson, and contain 93 volumes of miscellaneous writings and 86 volumes of miscellaneous writings, with many missing copies, making the original compilation a very large series.
