Seikado Bunko

This library is made up of about 200,000 Japanese and Chinese books collected by Iwasaki Yanosuke (Yataro's younger brother) and his heir Koyata. Shigeno Yasutsugu was entrusted with the collection and management of the library, which began around 1894 (Meiji 27). In 1940 (Showa 15), it was donated to the Seikado Foundation, and in 1948 (Showa 23), it became a branch library of the National Diet Library, and in 1970, it returned to being a corporation. The library holds all the books of scholars of Japanese classics and Chinese classics, including about 4,000 books by Tanaka Yoritsune, about 5,000 books by Irokawa Minaka, and about 17,000 books by Matsui Kanji, as well as about 13,000 books by Nakamura Keiu (Masanao), about 7,000 books by Takezoe Seisei (Shinichiro), and about 40,000 books by the late Qing Dynasty book collector Lu Xinyuan. The library also has a large collection of antique Japanese and Chinese art. It is located in Okamoto, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo.

岩崎弥之助(やのすけ)（弥太郎(やたろう)の弟）、および嗣子(しし)小弥太(こやた)によって集められた和漢書約20万冊よりなる文庫。重野安繹(しげのやすつぐ)に集書と管理を委嘱し、1894年（明治27）ころより集書を開始、1940年（昭和15）財団法人静嘉堂に寄付、48年（昭和23）国立国会図書館の支部図書館となり、70年法人に戻る。国学者や漢学者などの旧蔵書が一括架蔵されており、国文方面では田中頼庸(よりつね)旧蔵書約4000冊、色川三中(いろかわみなか)旧蔵書約5000冊、松井簡治(かんじ)旧蔵書約1万7000冊、漢籍では中村敬宇(けいう)（正直(まさなお)）旧蔵書約1万3000冊、竹添井井(たけぞえせいせい)（進一郎）旧蔵書約7000冊、清(しん)末の蔵書家陸心源(りくしんげん)旧蔵書約4万冊などを含む。なお、日本・中国の古美術品多数を所蔵展示。東京都世田谷(せたがや)区岡本に所在する。
