Suwa Shrine
A shrine located in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture. It is also known as Chinzei Taisha and Osuwa-san. The deities enshrined are Suwa-no-Okami (Takeminakata-no-Mikoto and Yasakatome-no-Mikoto), Morisaki-no-Okami (Izanagi-no-Kami and Izanami-no-Kami), and Sumiyoshi-no-Okami. The shrine is worshipped as a deity for warding off evil, finding love, and protecting the seas. The annual festival held every October, known as "Nagasaki Kunchi," has been designated an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan.

Suwa Shrine

This shrine is located in Shibata City, Niigata Prefecture. It is said to have originated in 648 when it was enshrined on Mount Suwayama (present-day Seiryou Town, Kitakanbara County). The deities enshrined are Takeminakata no Mikoto, Yasakatome no Mikoto, and the founder of the domain, Hansomizoguchi Omioyamanamoto no Hidekatsu Ason no Mikoto (the first feudal lord of the Shibata domain).

Suwa Shrine

A shrine in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. Formerly a prefectural shrine. It is said to have been founded in 1202 by inviting a branch of the Suwa Taisha Shrine in Shinshu. The deities enshrined are Takeminakata no Mikoto and Yae Kotoshironushi no Mikoto. The Yokkaichi Festival, an annual festival that has been held since the Edo period, is well known.

Suwa Shrine

This shrine is located in Minamiosumi-cho, Kimotsuki-gun, Kagoshima Prefecture. The deities enshrined are Takeminakata-no-mikoto and Kotoshironushi-no-mikoto. It is known for its two torii gates lined up side by side, known as "parallel torii gates." It is also known as "Kawanami Suwa Shrine."

長崎県長崎市にある神社。「鎮西大社」「おすわさん」などとも呼ばれる。祭神は諏訪大神(建御名方命(たけみなかたのみこと)・八坂刀売命(やさかとめのみこと))、森崎大神(伊邪那岐(いざなぎ)神・伊邪那美(いざなみ)神)、住吉大神。厄除け・縁結び・海上守護の神として信仰を集める。毎年10月に行われる例大祭は「長崎くんち」として国の重要無形民俗文化財に指定。

諏訪神社

新潟県新発田市にある神社。648年、諏訪山(現在の北蒲原郡聖籠町)に鎮座したのが起源とされる。祭神は建御名方命(たけみなかたのみこと)、八坂刀売命(やさかとめのみこと)、藩祖溝口大祖源秀勝朝臣命(はんそみぞぐちおおみおやみなもとのひでかつあそんのみこと)(新発田藩の初代藩主)。

諏訪神社

三重県四日市市にある神社。旧県社。1202年、信州の諏訪大社の分霊を勧請して創祀と伝わる。祭神は建御名方命(たけみなかたのみこと)、八重事代主命(やえことしろぬしのみこと)。江戸時代から伝わる例大祭、四日市祭が知られる。

鹿児島県肝属郡南大隅町にある神社。祭神は建御名方命(たけみなかたのみこと)、事代主命(ことしろぬしのみこと)。2基の鳥居が横に並んだ「並列鳥居」で知られる。「川南諏訪神社」とも呼ばれる。
