〘Noun〙① A three-dimensional figure made by a closed curve (or broken line) on a plane and the line segments connecting each point inside it to a fixed point outside the plane. The fixed point and its vertices, and the curve (or broken line) on the plane are called its conductor, the line segments connecting points on the conductor and its vertices are called its generatrix, and the conductor and its interior are called its base.
