〘Noun〙① (adjective) (abbreviation of "kizui") Doing as the mood takes you. Being carefree. Also, the state of being like that. Selfish. ※Kenzai Zatsudan (around 1510) "Shinkei says, the virtue of an old man is what makes an old man write renga poetry." ※Nanamihon Kyogen, Tadayoshi (late Muromachi period - early modern period) "It was something that my son grew up without understanding, which is why he did things like that." ② One of the 64 hexagrams of I Ching. The upper hexagram is Dui (swell) and the lower hexagram is Shin ( thunder ) . It is also called Swamp and Thunder. Dui represents joy and Shin represents movement, and it shows how the people of the world joyfully follow the ruler when he moves.
