Singapore Botanic Gardens - Singapore Botanic Gardens
Singapore Botanic Garden is a botanical garden located in the center of Singapore. It opened in 1859. During the Japanese occupation of World War II, it was called the Shonan Botanical Garden. It has a National Orchid Garden with over 3,000 species of orchids, including hybrids, a cold greenhouse that recreates a mountainous region, and a ginger garden, which was the predecessor of the garden.
