A commentary on the artistic traditions of Joruri tayu and shamisen. Written by Takemoto III and edited by Chikamatsu Kyogendo, published in 1842 (Tenpo 13), in three volumes. As the title suggests, it lists the names of 376 tayu and 140 shamisen players from the three schools of Kojoruri, Gidayubushi and Bungobushi up until the time of publication, and shows the artistic traditions such as master-disciple relationships. The first and second volumes are devoted to tayu and the third volume to shamisen. Although it contains quite a few errors, it is an important book for the study of Joruri history.
