Shunaisho (English name) Xiu-nei-si-yao

Japanese: 修内司窯 - しゅうないしよう（英語表記）Xiu-nei-si-yao

One of the official kilns of the Southern Song Dynasty, located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. When the new capital was moved to Hangzhou following the Jingkang 1 (1126) incident, this kiln was established within the imperial court, taking over the system of the official kilns in Kaifeng. It produced ware for use in the imperial court, and was supervised by the Shunaishi (a government office responsible for maintenance). It mainly produced celadon. Its products are the finest of Chinese celadon, and are unparalleled in their exquisite style and the beauty of the blue-green color of the celadon glaze. Many of the products known in Japan as Kinuta celadon are from the Shunaishi kiln.

中国，浙江省杭州にあった南宋時代の官窯の一つ。靖康1 (1126) 年の変で新都が杭州に移った際，開封にあった官窯の制を引継いで宮廷内に設けられた窯。宮中で用いる器物を焼き，その監督は修内司 (営繕関係の役所) で行なった。おもに青磁を生産。その製品は中国青磁中最高で，精巧な作風，青緑色の青磁釉の色合いの美しさは他に類をみない。日本で砧青磁 (きぬたせいじ) と称しているもののなかに，修内司窯の製品が多く含まれる。
