Shankar
Indian sitar player and composer. He started out as a musician and dancer in a dance troupe, but later became famous as a virtuoso sitar performer, touring Europe and the US. He also performed in Japan in 1968. His record "Sitar Concerto No. 1" was released in 1971. He has also composed many film scores.
