...Dolomite is a type of limestone that has been partially transformed into dolomite. Dolomite is named after the French geologist and mineralogist Gratet de Dolomieu (1750-1801). It is found in Kuzu, Tochigi Prefecture, and Tsukumi, Oita Prefecture.
