A sense of identity towards one's place of birth, place of residence, or area of influence. While a sense of hometown emerges in a foreign land, mainly in a city, a sense of locality can be said to arise from awareness of the center. With the centralization of the state, it is a passive concept that is conscious of one's hometown or local companies in contrast to the national center or major influential companies. As a result, while there is a direct connection to the center, there is a strong sense of priority and exclusivity towards other regions. In this case, because a certain region is considered to have a special connection to oneself, the sense of solidarity and belonging with people in the same region becomes a holistic and unitary belonging.
