[Understanding]
The topography shown on a topographical map is primarily the shape of the land, shown by its altitude and slope direction, and does not go into its nature or origin. The land form and geomorphology in geomorphology are treated in the sense that they include the latter. There are topographical maps (or topographical maps) that show only the planar arrangement of land features, as well as topographical maps (or topographical maps) that show altitude and relief, and altitude and relief on maps are generally shown by contour lines and numerical heights.
