Kabuki dance. Nagauta, Kiyomoto. Original title: Matakuru Harusuzuna no Tanemaki (Repeat Sowing of Spring Vinegar Seeds), abbreviated as Shigayama Sanbaso or Tanemaki Sanbaso. It was first performed in 1812 (Bunka 9) at the Edo Nakamuraza Theatre with Nakamura Utaemon III as Sanbaso, Nakamura Akashi IV as Chitose (later Kanzaburo 12th) and Nakamura Shichisaburo IV as Okina. Lyrics by Sakurada Jisuke II. Music by Kineya Shojiro II and Ito Tosaburo. The current version features Chitose and Sanbaso. It is based on the Shigayama-ryu representative piece Suyosetsu Sanbaso, danced by Nakamura Nakazo I, and the title comes from the part where the dancer sticks out his tongue in the line, "Congratulations, Sakaeya Nakazo wo."
