Jizobon - Jizobon
〘Noun〙 An event held in Kyoto from August 22nd to 24th (formerly July). Each neighborhood's stone Jizo is moved to the house on duty, or a tent or floor cushion is set up in front of the shrine , decorated with lanterns and offerings, and worshiped, with various entertainments. A similar custom exists in Osaka. Jizo Festival. Jizo Meeting.
