〘Noun〙① In the Ritsuryo system, a general term for the Sakyoshoku, Ukyoshoku, Daizenshiki , and Shurishiki . shishoku. ② Refers to the four families appointed as Shoshi, the chief of the Samurai-dokoro in the Muromachi shogunate. The four families were Yamana, Isshiki, Kyogoku, and Akamatsu. They were called the Three Kanrei. shishoku. Shidenshu. Shishokushu. ※Bun'an Nenchu Gobancho (around 1444-49): "The four families, Isshiki Sakyo no Daifu, Yamana Uemon no Taku Nyudo, Sasaki Jibu no Shoyu (Kyogokudonogoji), Akamatsu, and the rest."
