Xishuangbanna - Xishuangbanna

Japanese: シーサンパンナ - しーさんぱんな

This Dai Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southern tip of Yunnan Province, China. It consists of Jinghong City and two counties: Menghai and Mengla. The government is located in Jinghong City. More than 10 ethnic minorities, including the Dai and Hani, live here, and the southern part of the prefecture is tropical. During the Three Kingdoms period, it was under Yongchang County in Shu, but during the Yuan Dynasty, the Cheli Military and Civil Administration was established and the region transitioned to a feudal system. Incidentally, Xishuangbanna means 12 thousand fields in Thai, and thousand fields refers to a unit of feudal land. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Cheli Xuanyisi was established and the Tusi system was established. It was liberated in 1950.

中国，雲南省南端のタイ(傣)族自治州。景洪市と勐海（もうかい），勐臘（もうろう）の2県よりなる。政府所在地は景洪市。タイ，ハニ(哈尼)など10余の少数民族が住み，州南部は熱帯に属する。三国時代の蜀では永昌郡下にあったが，元代に徹里軍民総管府が設けられ封建制に移行した。ちなみに西双版納とはタイ語で12の千田の意で千田とは封建領地の単位をさす。明･清に車里宣慰司がおかれ，土司（どし）制度が確立した。1950年に解放された。
