A troubadour active at the end of the 12th century (around 1180-1200). His birth and death years are unknown. According to the 13th century biography Vida, he was from Riberac in the Périgueux region. He represents the "trobar ric" art form, which is often difficult to understand and makes use of extremely complex techniques. There are 18 extant works, two of which are accompanied by musical notation. With the exception of one provocative piece, all of them are love poems, and the most famous of these is the one that ends with "I am Arnaud, who catches the wind, / who hunts rabbits with oxen, / who swims against the rising tide." 12世紀末(1180‐1200ころ)に活躍したトルバドゥール。
