Sannohe [town] - Sannohe
A town in Sannohe County in the southeastern part of Aomori Prefecture. The town center developed as a post station on the Oshu Kaido road in the middle reaches of the Mabechi River, and is served by the Aoimori Railway and the IGR Iwate Galaxy Railway. In addition to producing rice and vegetables, the town is also famous for its apple and grape cultivation. The town sustained damage in the Great East Japan Earthquake. Area: 151.79 km2 . Population: 11,299 (2010).

青森県南東部，三戸郡の町。馬淵(まべち)川中流域に奥州街道の宿駅として発達した中心市街があり，青い森鉄道，アイジーアールいわて銀河鉄道が通じる。米，野菜を産するほか，リンゴ，ブドウの果樹栽培が盛ん。東日本大震災で，町内において被害が発生。151.79km2。１万1299人（2010）。
