〘名〙① 書き入れること。書き加えること。また、その文字など。記入。かきこみ。※俳諧・続猿蓑(1698)旅「墨けしあるひは書入等のおほく侍るは、草稿の書なればなり」※福翁自伝(1899)〈福沢諭吉〉大阪修業「伊藤東涯先生が自筆で細々と書入(カキイレ)をした見事なものがある」② 売れ行き、利益、興味などの期待や予想。また、そういう期待のできるとき。かきいれどき。※雑俳・柳多留拾遺(1801)巻七「旅迎へこれ書入れの一つなり」③ 江戸時代の抵当契約のこと。また、書入金。あるいは、抵当物件。質入れは契約期間中抵当物件を債権者に引き渡したのに対し、これは借金証文に抵当物件を書き入れるだけであったので、この名称が生まれた。これに対しては、原則として金公事(かねくじ)による保護しか与えられなかった。※梅津政景日記‐慶長一七年(1612)八月六日「六郷彌右衛門居候宮内欠所家、しちやへかき入に致、銀三拾目かり候由」

かき‐い・れる【書入】

〘他ラ下一〙 かきい・る 〘他ラ下二〙① 余白や行間などに文字や言葉、文章などを書き加える。書き込む。記入する。※小右記‐治安三年(1023)正月五日「源納言伝奉皇后宮御給請文、伝関白奏覧、悉皆書入畢」※洒落本・禁現大福帳(1755)四「姿鏡(すがたみ)を調る下金に濡仏(ぬれほとけ)を書入(カキイレ)」② 不動産などを、抵当として証文に書き加える。抵当に入れる。※塵芥集(1536)九五条「しちにかき入候しょたい、余人にたんかうせしめ、永代うり、かのしゃくせんをすまし候に付ては、是非にをよばず」
