Mountain Village Work Team - Sansonkosakutai

Japanese: 山村工作隊 - さんそんこうさくたい

Organisational activities carried out by the Japanese Communist Party in mid-1952 with the aim of creating "guerrilla units" in mountain villages. In February 1951, the "Shokan faction" of the Japanese Communist Party, which accepted the criticism of the party made by the Cominform and the Chinese Communist Party in January 1950, held its 4th National Conference and adopted the "Basic Struggle Policy for the Time Being." This stated that even after the peace treaty came into effect, Japan would remain under the "total rule (colonial rule)" of the United States, and that a military policy imitating China's armed struggle line was necessary. This was confirmed at the 5th Party Congress in October, and was put into practice from May to July 1952, after the peace treaty came into effect.

1952年半ばに日本共産党が山村地帯に〈遊撃隊〉をつくる目的でおこなった組織活動。日本共産党では1951年2月，コミンフォルム，中国共産党が50年1月におこなった同党批判を承服した〈所感派〉が第4回全国協議会を開き，〈当面の基本的闘争方針〉を採択した。これは，講和発効後も日本がアメリカの〈全一的支配(植民地的支配)〉下にあるとし，中国の武装闘争路線をまねた軍事方針が必要だとするもので，10月の5全協で確認し，講和発効後の52年5～7月実行に移した。
