〘Noun〙① A job title in the Kamakura Shogunate. The role of staying at night in the Shogunate and accompanying and guarding the Shogun. This position was originally the responsibility of the Samurai-dokoro, but in 1219 (the first year of the Jokyu era), the Kosamurai-dokoro was established and this role was transferred to it. 〘名〙① 鎌倉幕府の職名。幕府に宿直し、将軍に供奉し警護する役。この職掌はもと侍所の管掌するところであったが、承久元年（一二一九）小侍所を設置して移した。長官（別当）には北条氏一族を任じ、その下に所司、朝夕雑色（雑役駆使の役）、走衆、恪勤(かくご)などがいた。※吾妻鏡‐嘉禎元年（1235）一〇月二日「相州、武州参_二御所_一、令_レ候_二小侍所_一給」② 室町幕府の職名。①にならって設けられたもの。長官は所司(しょし)とよぶ。※鹿苑院殿御元服記（１４Ｃ末）「永和元年四月廿五日御参内始〈略〉今日被_レ仰_二小侍所_一召_二具朝夕_一畢」③ 「こざむらいどころ（小侍所）の所司②」の略。※御的日記（1335）「建武二年正月七日〈左馬頭殿御_二鎌倉_一之時〉。御的小侍所渋野殿」④ 室町時代、鎌倉府の職名。幕府のそれにならって置かれたもの。〔鎌倉殿中以下年中行事（1454か）〕
