Oddi's sphincter (English spelling) Oddissphincter

The opening of the duct is called the major papilla (or Vater's papilla). The muscle of Oddi surrounds the opening of the duct, which regulates the secretion of pancreatic juice and bile. The opening of the accessory pancreatic duct is found about 2 cm above the major papilla and is called the minor papilla or minor duodenal papilla.
