Kontenrahmen (English) German

Japanese: コンテンラーメン - こんてんらーめん（英語表記）Kontenrahmen ドイツ語

It refers to a standard accounting system (system of accounts) oriented toward practical purposes. In Japan, it is called Contenramen, which is the German word, but in English-speaking countries it is translated as uniform (standard) chart of accounts. Its essence is that it is a standard accounting system that embodies various requirements in accounting practice, such as the preparation of financial statements, cost accounting, short-term profit and loss accounting, and management comparisons. Some people mistakenly believe that the accounting bookkeeping diagrams that are used to effectively operate this system are themselves Contenramen, but the bookkeeping diagrams are merely auxiliary means and are not Contenramen itself.

実践目的を指向した標準勘定組織(勘定の体系)をいう。日本ではドイツ語のままでコンテンラーメンと呼ばれているが，英語圏諸国ではuniform(standard) chart of accountsという訳語が与えられている。その本質は，財務諸表の作成，原価計算，短期損益計算，経営比較など，会計実践上の諸要求を具体化した標準勘定組織たるところにある。これを有効に運用するための勘定記帳図解そのものをコンテンラーメンであると誤解している向きもあるが，記帳図解は単なる補助手段であって，コンテンラーメンそのものではない。
