[1] 〘名〙① 五番目の男子。五男。※大和（947‐957頃）六五「南院の五郎三河(みかは)の守(かみ)にてありける」② 「ごろうまる（五郎丸）」の略。※風俗画報‐一〇六号（1896）人事門「そは縮緬(ちりめん)或は五郎(ゴラウ)金巾真綿(かなきんまわた)などを以て造り」[2] 歌舞伎所作事。長唄。三升屋二三治(みますやにそうじ)作詞、一〇世杵屋六左衛門作曲。二世尾上多見蔵の九変化舞踊「八重九重花姿絵」の一つ。天保一二年（一八四一）江戸中村座初演。曾我五郎が大磯の郭通いする様を描いた一人踊り。雨の五郎。時致(ときむね)。
