Akizuno

Japanese: 阿岐豆野 - あきづの
Akizuno

...Yamato was named after the area around Mt. Miwa in Nara Prefecture, which means "a place with mountains." Since then, the capital was mainly located in Yamato, and it became the general name for Japan. Akizushima also came to refer to Japan from Akizuno (perhaps the area around Misono on the opposite bank from Miyataki, Yoshino-cho, Yoshino-gun). There is a song about the origin of the country's name, which says that Emperor Yuryaku should call the country Akizushima Yamato because of the achievements of the dragonfly Akizu.
