Date of birth and death unknown. He was an official in the early Heian period and a member of the Myobo family. In 877 (Gangyo 1), together with his elder brother Naomune, he moved his family home from Kagawa County, Sanuki Province (Kagawa Prefecture) to Rokujo in the right capital of Heian-kyo, and in 883, he and his family changed their surname from Hatanokimi to Koremune Ason. He served five emperors, Seiwa, Yozei, Koko, Uda, and Daigo, and held the positions of Danjo no Chu, Uemon no Shoshi, Kebiishi Uemon no Jo, and Kagenyusinosuke before becoming Chief Accountant and also serving as a Doctor of Myobo. As a legal scholar, he had the honor of lecturing on the Ritsuryo Code at his private residence. At the same time, he answered questions from the Minister of the Left, Fujiwara no Tokihira, who also served as the head of the Kebiishi, and was deeply involved in the actual administration of criminal law. His written works include "Ryo no Shuge," "Ritsu no Shuge," and "Kebiishi Shiki." While many of these have been lost, the 27 volumes of "Ritsu no Shuge" have been passed down, and are a valuable historical resource that not only teaches the legal studies of the Ritsuryo period, but also shows the actual state of its implementation and restores the provisions of the Tang Code, which was the mother law of the law.
