A breed of sheep. Dual-purpose wool and meat. The wool is of medium quality, but the lamb's meat is excellent. It was created in New Zealand in the 19th century by crossbreeding Merino and Lincoln sheep. Both sexes are polled, and the tips of the legs are white.
